Overview
This Guide Details the Usage of the KVM/Management Interfaces of the Dedicated Servers!
Requirements
When you server is provisioned you will receive information for the Management-Access Service, you will be issued:
- Management Access URL
- User/Pass for the Accessing Management / IPMI
Available Images
The current Images are currently available on the Image_Servers:
- AlmaLinux-8.8-x86_64-minimal.iso
- AlmaLinux-9.2-x86_64-minimal.iso
- CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2003.iso
- CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2009.iso
- FreeBSD-13.2-RELEASE-amd64-bootonly.iso
- Rocky-8.8-x86_64-minimal.iso
- Rocky-9.2-x86_64-minimal.iso
- debian-12.1.0-amd64-netinst.iso
- ubuntu-22.04.3-live-server-amd64.iso
- grml64-full_2022.11.iso
- proxmox-backup-server_3.0-1.iso
- proxmox-ve_8.0-2.iso
- proxmox-ve_8.1-2.iso
Requesting other Images
If you need any other Images, please just open a Ticket!
Accessing the Panel
- Open the Management URL with the Browser and enter your User/Pass for the Access_Host
- Login to the IPMI Interface
- Navigate to Virtual media and mount an Image (See List in this Article for available ISO files)
- Use PowerControls to reset/power-cycle the server
- Access the HTML5 KVM (JAVA _is_ NOT SUPPORTED!)
- Please don't forget to UN-Mount the image after you are done!
